The Brant Point Association was founded in 1966 to represent homeowners and commercial businesses in preserving their quality of life, protecting their natural resources, and facilitating communication with the town government to support our goals.

The Brant Point neighborhood traces its history to the early 1700’s as a beacon of a burgeoning whaling industry, and remains one of the most desirable places to live in Nantucket. Known for its sandy beaches, boutique shops, and picturesque architecture, our community is the perfect combination of modern living with small island charm. The Brant Point Association serves to protect everything we love about this community, and ensure that generations of families can continue to call our neighborhood home. THE ROAD AHEAD
As a critical step towards the BPA becoming a truly representative neighborhood association, ensuring the voice of our community is heard and our challenges recognized as a priority by the Town of Nantucket, is greater participation from Brant Point residents. The Associations goal is to move towards full membership from our current level of 30%. Even though most homes are used seasonally in Brant Point, the issues facing the neighborhood are year-round. It is vital that homeowners, their families, and local business owners understand the issues at hand and learn what a neighborhood organization can accomplish together.
